I have fibro and scapular thoracic dyskinesia and always struggling with neck, shoulder, and back pain. I work a lot on a computer which further compounds that stress, particularly with holding my scapula in place. The AlignMed shirt compresses and keeps everything supported and in place. I find it helpful and am ordering the bra soon! The only thing that I don’t care for is the fit in terms of coverage. I have the white shirt and it shows around my neck and shoulders when I wear a t-shirt. Perhaps if it were cropped more, it would be less visible in a top other than in a full crew neck or turtleneck.
I’m recovering from a surgical injury to my shoulder, and I needed some extra support to keep my shoulder in place. This bra gently supports my shoulders without being uncomfortable. I’m very happy with my purchase!

Quite a bit more compression than the other style of sports bra, which I appreciate for higher impact activity. I did get the same size as my other sports bra, but this one feels a bit tighter. Not excessively tight, and I’m not sure if going up a size would necessarily be a better fit. But this would be a really good bra to wear for shorter amounts of time because of the tightness.

I have scapular winging that has made my desk job unbearable at times. This shirt decreased my pain levels by maybe 75%! Exciting after trying so many other things. The shirt works well, the only “negative thing is the zipper might show through a shirt a bit so if you are concerned about that don’t get the zip up version. However, I believe the zip up is a better fit.

I absolutely LOVE this white AlignMed posture bra. I have been wearing AlignMed posture bras since 2015 after cervical spinal surgery. I wear one every single day and have so many and used to only wear the nude color and now I have some in white and black. I have found that the nude colored bras do stretch quite easily and quickly and lose their posture pull, whereas the white is more in the middle and the black has the most firm fabric that doesn’t stretch easily. I do wish that the nude bras were more like the black. The white seems so far to not stretch too easily, but time will tell.
I am 5’3” and between 121–125 pounds. I am a cup size B. I have tried the extra small previously and found it to be too tight for me. The small seems to be the perfect fit, the only problem is that as I’ve said, the only nude bras in particular tend to stretch quickly and lose that perfect fit & posture correcting pull.

I bought the AlignMed posture t-shirt for everyday wear and overall I’m quite satisfied with it. The quality is good, and the fabric feels comfortable against the skin. It does seem to help with posture, though the fit isn’t perfect for shorter heights (156 cm in my case), as it tends to wrinkle a bit.
The inner construction with hooks is noticeable but manageable. The transparent support inserts are slightly stiff and can cause a mild prickling sensation at times.
In terms of design, I would prefer a V-neck or a higher round neckline—the current oval cut doesn’t feel very flattering or unisex.
Overall, it’s a well-made product with some minor comfort and design drawbacks.

As someone with POTS and hypermobility, full length compression is a daily need to feel my best. It is wonderful to have a bra that doesn't just pull my shoulders down and dig. The cloth over the bottom of the zipper and extra cloth protection behind the hooks and the zipper are great.
I just wish the zipper wasn't so visible thru work shirts. It could use a cover too.

So quick backstory - I get massages monthly and a new therapist recommended a posture sports bra b/c well, I needed it... I did some research & there was either this one or one double the price, I decided to try this first. I just got it, I'm small framed but large upper chest, so I went w/Med, glad I did, it fits like a dream. I usually do zip ups and bought this on impulse then saw they have the zip up but it was too late to change it out. Well, this is 10x more comfortable than my front zips & well, it's amazing ... super comfortable! Great quality... I plan to get another one. I don't know if it'll help w/posture but I'm sure hoping so! Regardless, this comfort beats the ones I'm used to wearing which are prob 1/2 the price but this is worth the extra $$.

I absolutely love this shirt. It has helped reduce my pain tremendously. Planning to order another one. I have tos and had a rib and two scalenes removed and pec minor release. Amazing for heds, helps with proprioception and support whenever Im in vertical positions throughout the day. Recommend going a size or two smaller than you think for more support and so the shoulders are snug and kept in alignment.

I love this shirt so much for my hypermobile body. I am wearing an X-Small in the photo but it's a little too small and the next purchase I plan to get a small.
Sizing: 5'0, 115-120lbs, 30DD. The arms are a bit too tight and it bunches/rolls up, but it's not enough that I didn't return/exchange it. You do not need to a bra underneath.
Style: I chose the zip up for quick overstimulated escapes.
Effect: I immediately feel relief putting this shirt on. I can feel things shifting gently back into place and sometimes even feel a few pops. I like sleeping in this shirt, I wake up with less pain in the morning from not being in awkward painful positions all night. The shirt does make you sweat a bit so sometimes I need a shower in the morning, but it's worth it.

It really helps me to get through long days of work with EDS. I was skeptic about the concept of this shirt but I had a friend who was struggling with posture but didn’t want a brace - so o figured I’d try it.
It does well - especially at the shoulders to improve posture but if you slump at mid thoracic it’s less effective there. I know it’s working to activate muscles properly because if I wear it many hours in a little sore in the muscles that should be stronger.
I don’t currently work out but it’s a goal and I spend a lot of time at a computer - standing desk helps-
For it to work really well the back has to be pulled low over the butt- well for some of us- the shirts slides right up- I wish it had a silicone band or a drawstring to pull it tighter at the distal end and capture what little definition I have to hold it down.
Unfortunately for my body shape, if I’m not focused on the shirt, sometimes by the end of the day it’s just in a big bunch at the xyphoid level and then it does nothing - I did order a size down for best compression because I know that these types of garments work even less effectively when to large (and some stretch out- mine hasn’t yet but I’ve had it less than a month)
So perhaps it’s better for targeted interventions- like I see people workout in it to have better posture - but if you’re gonna put it on and ignore it, and you don’t have enough posterior gluteal definition to hold the shirt over your glutes- then assume it will be riding up all day

We always recommend to pull it down as far as possible around your hips & glutes. This will help to create tension and increase the resistance. Another recommendation, you can fold it upward at the desired length. That will help to keep it down and be at the desired length level. It will also provide more lower lumbar support.
When I opened the package, I admit the shirt was different than I thought it would be. But the bands work amazingly for my poor EDS proprioception. I love the way the shirt just helps me stay upright without straining myself. The only thing is that the material absorbs scent incredibly quickly. Too few wears for my taste before it needs a wash. But I will purchase more to make up for that I guess!

I have worn these AlignMed posture bras since 2016 and cannot imagine my life without them. I started wearing them after cervical spinal surgery and resulting scapular dyskinesia. These posture bras truly make the biggest difference in my life, and I am so grateful for AlignMed! If I could give any advice to someone new to these posture bras, I would say to definitely give yourself time to break in wearing a new posture bra because it may feel at first like it is too tight and then after a break-in period, it will feel completely comfortable and natural. So trust the sizing that is provided and give it time.
